The beautiful bust of Caracalla is a high quality replica in plaster of a roman sculpture (III century a.C.) housed in the Vatican Museums. Several copies of the bust exist, such as the one at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, and one at Puskin Museum in Moscow.
The unusual pose of the emperor, with the head twisted toward the left, and the strong psycological features of the face inspired Michalangelo in the creation of his "Bust of Brutus".
